Within close connection to the city center and multiple connectivity options for private and public transit surrounding the area, this industrial district in Mexico City has been for the past couple of years rapidly growing and transforming for commercial and residential use. This project intends to motivate the new inhabitants to discover the neighborhood as well as give it life. The former industrial district used trains to move freight and goods in and out of the factories, passing through green spaces adjacent to the avenues. The proposal is to restore the railways in order to implement a local Tram to move around the district and get to the mass transit stations, connecting the habitants with the rest of the city. The project also focus on recovering the green areas and transforming them into parks and pathways for a better quality life since the lack of public space is noticeable due to the district's past.
